Kate Kaneshiro graduated from Michigan State University in December 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. While studying at MSU, she spent a semester in Washington, D.C. interning at the Hudson Institute while participating in MSU's study away program.

For GUSP, Kate handles communications for the department along with pertinent research. She enjoys horseback riding and gardening.

Kellee M. Remer joined the GUSP team in December of 2012. She has a BA in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration. She came to us after 15 years' experience in consultative sales, business development, and strategic planning in the private sector She has held leadership and management roles and has been the lead in the preparation and presentation of top quality proposals many which have resulted in contracts being awarded to her employer. She enjoys new challenges and is looking forward to working at MSU
